What is Eco-DEF™?

Spectrum Fluid Technologies manufactures and distributes Eco-DEF™ high purity Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Spectrum Eco-DEF™ diesel exhaust fluid has the same properties as and meets the same Australian and international standards as AdBlue® diesel exhaust fluid. Eco-DEF™ is used in a process called Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) to reduce exhaust emission levels of nitrous oxide (NOx) in diesel engines. Eco-DEF™ diesel exhaust fluid is manufactured by our Australian owned company and meets or exceeds ISO 22241 international standard. The standard outlined in ISO 22241 requires Eco-DEF™ diesel exhaust fluid to contain 32.5% solution of high-purity urea in demineralised water which is AUS32 (Aqueous Urea Solution 32.5%).

Who can use Eco-DEF?

ECO-DEF™ can be used by any truck or bus company that runs SCR system equiped engines to comply with Euro 4, 5 and 6 standards. Whether you have a fleet of 1 or 100, we can offer you a range of solutions including delivery of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC’s) or bulk Eco-DEF™ diesel exhaust fluid to be stored in Bulk Dispensing Tanks or existing IBC’s.

What do we offer?

As well as the supply of Eco-DEF™ diesel exhaust fluid, we also have a range of dispensing tanks, equally suited to either AdBlue® or Eco-DEF™ diesel exhaust fluid, available to assist with your storage and dispensing needs.
